This study serves as a breath between our testaments for our Sunday morning Bible Study—we finished Malachi in late November and will start the New Year with the New Testament on Sunday, 1/4. Each Sunday of Advent, we’ll take a look at themes in Scripture and Advent as a liturgical season.
I. First Sunday of Advent, 11/30
Vibes: this is a liberation theology + progressive Christian look at modern questions in casual discussion—always at a place with non-alcoholic options, always a cohost, all respectful conversation honored, brave space + we’ll have a way for you to ask questions anonymously
This class meets Sundays at 9:30am at Trinity; asking the questions—when I hear from the excerpts from this book in our Sunday service, what’s the big picture? How does this Scripture form Christian character?
